Shackleton?
The Shackleton, one hundred thousand rivets in very loose formation. But we could do with a couple back now just to help the Nimrods out!
Easy peasy, it 10,000 riviets flying in a loose formation, isn't it?
There is a beautiful Mk2 Shackleton in the Manchester Museum of Science & Industry.Andrew Smith
Surely the 'Shack' needed 10,000 rivets just to keep the port wing attached?
You could always find 'em by following the oil slick!
Shack. Mk3, Phase 3.
2 by 20mm cannon pointed in a direction that should make the photographer nervous.Oh and they are attached to a Shakleton by some of those rivets everyone is talking about.
