Iraq sells oil at $128 ???

What was the bloody point of invading them then ?

Does anyone have a theory about WHY we don't use grain as a lever on these bastards?

Well has any part of it gone to plan?

I see an alternative way out.

Oil raised to $200 per barrel.
Buys grain from everywhere else at $100 per bushel.

US recession deepens even faster than Gordos poll ratings.

Iraq isn't the one setting crude oil prices, for starters.

And if oil prices go a lot higher, it isn't just the U.S. economy that suffers.

Think about it.

Yeah, good plan, go after Iraq now...and collect some blood donations from gun shot victims in hospital while you're at it.

Like every other non Opec nation except the US(thanks Congress), they are increasing production as fast as they can and this is the only thing that will lead to lower prices in the short, long and medium term.
