It's a heavy lift chopper designed for Hughes Aircraft. The enormous blades rotate relatively slowly and are turned by tip jets. The whole thing is massive really. You could probably get a shipping container under it without much trouble.

Didn't succeed due to very limited range.
Whatever happened to it? Was it preserved somewhere?
