Lost I.D...........
A guy traveling through Mexico on vacation lost his wallet and all of his identification. Cutting his trip short, he attempted to make his way home but was stopped by the U.S. Customs Agent at the border.
"May I see your identification, please?" asked the agent.
"I'm sorry, but I lost my wallet," replied the guy.
"Sure buddy, I hear that every day. No ID, no entry," said the agent.
"But I can prove I'm an American!" he exclaimed. "I have a picture of Ronald Reagan tattooed on one side of my butt and George Bush on the other."
"This I gotta see," replied the agent.
With that, the guy dropped his pants and showed the agent his behind.
"By golly, you're right!" exclaimed the agent. "Have a safe trip back to Chicago .."
"Thanks!" he said. "But how did you know I was from Chicago ?"
The agent replied, "I recognized Obama in the middle."

The Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara, CA this year caused these two to take shelter together. The fawn is about 3 days old and the bobcat about 3 weeks.
They immediately bonded and snuggled together under a desk in the Santa Barbara County Dispatch Office for several hours.

Morning Briefing
The commanding officer of a regiment of U,S. Marines was about to start the
morning briefing to his staff, battalion and 20 company commanders.
While waiting for the coffee machine to finish brewing, the colonel decided
to pose a question to all assembled.
He explained that his wife had been a bit frisky the night before and he
failed to get his usual amount of sound sleep. He posed the question of just
how much of sex was 'work' and how much of it was 'pleasure?'
The regimental executive officer chimed in with 75-25% in favor of work.
A captain said it was 50-50%.
The colonel's aide responded with 25-75% in favor of pleasure, depending on
his state of inebriation at the time.
There being no consensus, the colonel turned to the private who was in
charge of making the coffee. The colonel asked what HIS opinion was.
Without any hesitation, the young PFC responded, "Sir, it has to be 100%
pleasure."
The colonel was surprised and, as you might guess, asked why?
"Well, sir, "if there was any work involved, the officers would have me
doing it for them."
The room fell silent.

(ignoring the caveat 'it's worth exactly what you paid for it' because with gov't intervention we'll easily pay double and get half, at best).....although my own definition of 'free' health care is for gov't (this is for YOU Obama, you too Congress) keep its incompetent hands OFF of health care and leave it alone.
To paraphrase: It ain't broke, so don't 'fix- it!!!!!

Canadian soldiers display a Nazi flag captured during the Battle of Normandy.
450 Canadian soldiers were killed, and 1100 were wounded in the French town of Verrieres, during the Anglo-Canadian advance toward Caen, part of the Normandy campaign.
