Actively destroying the dollar............from Rico
It was only days ago that TurboTax Timmy was leading the Greek chorus in the media singing that "the US was for a strong Dollar."
He lied. This is nothing new for the current administration which routinely says one thing yet means another, at least if you compare the 'words' with the 'actions.'
Gee, it's shocking isn't it..I mean to think that our Government would blatantly and wittingly LIE to our faces?
- I guess it was for our own good, or for the children, or something like that...whatever the Politburo or the DNC decided it was 'for' that day. So, all better now, right?
Consider:
The Fed is actively destroying the dollar.
From Aug 21 to Aug 28, the US increased its position in IMF SDR's by 500%.
- This increased the value of the other currencies in the IMF SDR 'basket' (The Euro, the Japanese Yen, the Pound Sterling) and decreased the value of the US Dollar.
This was a direct dollar-adverse intervention intended to decrease the value of the dollar, and it explains why (a) the DXY has been on a downward slope since, and (b) why other Central Banks are running away from the dollar.
But WHY?
- This is a crystal clear message of the administration's/the government's forward intentions vis the dollar, the stock market, and USG bonds. The dollar has been thrown under the well-used administration's bus to save the bonds (they're needed to palm-off the US debt, which can then be paid-back with devalued dollars).
Now think about this:
All Americans just took a haircut on the value of their dollar earnings and holdings, and the barbering will continue until the sheeple are shorn clean.
- This is 'better' than an overt tax because it's hidden under the radar and no one is likely to figure out who needs to be strung up for this drive-by shooting of the dollar.
It makes me wonder "if" Larry Summers talks in his sleep at those meetings in the White House...excuse me Casa Rojas.

NO intention of...........from Rico
Despite the recent 'rhetoric' from the current administration (merely hot-air; what do you expect them to say anyway? that they need to devalue the dollar to pay off the mountain of debt we are buried under? Nawww...the talk is 'strong dollar' and ready to 'blah-blah-blah' as if anyone in their right mind or who can think would actusally bekieve them), the world continues to vote against the Dollar with their feet.
- The fact that US retailer orders to China for the upcoming holidays are off by 50% is another vote on economic policy vs. the reality on the street.
Policy 'stated' via the media is a lie...the real policy is to break the dollar. Make no mistake.
- Apart from 'talking' has anyone actually seen anything tangible 'done' in defense of the Dollar? No you have not, because the ONLY thing that has been done is what our con-artists politicos are best at...talking.
The big keno table brought to you by Benny-Timmy-Larry and headed by Obama does not conceal the HUGE risk being laid upon the taxpayer due to the Fed accepting any-and-all toxic trash in exchange for freshly-flung (ink still wet) fiat currency.
There is absolutely NO intention of stopping this MONETIZATION of our debt, nor could this train wreck be stopped even if they wanted it to...it is far too late for us.
There will be no unwinding...at least not a controllable one.
The government has brought us all deflation in the short-term, inflation in the long-term, and rising unemployment (running at double the reported rates).
The very next bubble to pop will be USG bonds. Walk away now. Quickly. It's going to be messy.....

It was hard to do following Al Gore's prize for phoney science, but with Obama's award for 'phoney peace' the Nobel folks have clinched a dead-tie with the UN as completely discredited and absolutely worthless organizations.
If one wanted to give "due credit" to America's first Communist pResident, it should be awarded based on this economic chart showing the fastest destruction of consumer credit ever recorded.
- Historic. Transformational.
The consumer (any left who haven't yet been pink-slipped) will NOT be leading any "recovery" in our consumer-driven economy, thanks to our Dear Leader and the dedicated stooges of Team Obama.
More of that 'ole hopey-changey thang agin'.....confusing the weeds of a heavily-manured administration with the "green shoots" of recovery.
