I was in Wainright ALTA decades ago on sentry 1/2k or more from a leaguer with the LDSH.
The LDSH only have 1 person on sentry and that was me, or at least they did then, up drives this M109 and I haven't even been issued blanks for the Ex yet, so there I am armed with an empty SMG.
1/2 a k is a long way to hope for help when this can just drive over you so i wave it to a stop and as soon ad it does I held my empty SMG to the drivers ear knowing even if the crew commander tells him to drive he aint going to. Took them forever to find the pass word and the crew does outnumber me.
Turns out they were on my side but there should always be 2 people on sentry! Or a radio, LOL.
That was before homosexuals were allowed to watch you shower.
