...I scanned the original full size picture in sections put it back together and hit 'auto smart fix' and two seconds layer bingo. Full restoration of the original colours. So photoshop does have uses apart from winding up Hillary.

Which version of Photoshop are you running, Theo?
I used photoshop elements 3 for this. I also have 5 on my desktop.
Very nicely done, although, I kind of like the yellowed version as well. It has a very cool tint to it.
