There is ample evidence that the DoE (like almost everything else .gov touches...take the Bunny Ranch for one of many examples) has underperformed and produced negative outcomes for the past 40 years of its existence.
Making Americans dumber is NOT how many of us understand education.

It is amazing that the DOE could mandate proper pronouns and still produce people that cant read. Although this should have been expected from a govt org that openly refuses to define a woman properly.
