It's hard to decide if this was more Village People 'ghey' or Maginot LIne 'stupid' but the French Navy has just demonstrated it is more interested in poking-the-Russian-bear by intercepting a commercial oil tanker than they are in stopping the 'migrant invasion' of what WAS La Belle France by rubber dingies from MENA.

Bullcookies or Magic Act? .................from Rico
Was the pow-wow of 800 'Flags' and their senior enlisted advisors a "magic act" (watch me pull a rabbit out of this hat), or something else?
For starters, while it would have been great entertainment IF some NCO's with scales and tape measures marched into the space for an on-the-spot weigh-in and discharge session it would have been too obvious.
- OK, the "you're too fat" (omitting the fat-headed part) was fine. [Right Milley?]
- So was "we are done with this shit" (DEI, dudes in dresses, and wearing panties).
BUT it's hard to beLIEve that the FAKE NEWS reported purpose [bullcookies?] of the meeting of all Generals and Admirals was the actual purpose.
There's something else beneath the surface here.
