Listening effectively involves paying attention and retaining information. Remembering a friend’s favorite colour or flower or birthday is really very flattering and immediately endears you to her.

Abby Nelson presents 10 Reasons to Consider a Nanny Who is a Mom posted at Nanny Classifieds, saying, "Finding the right nanny can be a really difficult and frustrating experience and it’s true that some parents go into it with pre-conceived notions of what a nanny should or should not be like (young and fun or older and experienced, etc.). We aren’t really sure why that is the case but over the years I have had some parents tell me that they would prefer to not have a nanny that has her own children. I think that’s really too bad because there are many reasons to consider Moms. Just being a Mother doesn’t mean that they are good or bad, better or worse, but it should NOT be a reason to exclude them from a search. In fact, you should see their experience as a parent in many ways consistent with “on-the-job” training that should help them in their career as a nanny. We are going to give you a few reasons to consider hiring a nanny who is a mother, but we want to stress that these types of life skills can and often do exist in people that have chosen a career as a nanny."

It’s true that you know your home along with the strengths and weaknesses. You also know where everything is and who to call in the event of an emergency whether it’s a repair or something even more serious. Of course, your nanny needs access to some of that information so here are 10 items that you should be prepared to download to your nanny on his or her first day:"

In both of these shows the set-up is basically the same, in that upper-middle-class families who have multiple children, who are not angels, need to call in expert help to save the families from imploding. The expert help is the super nanny, a regular Mary Poppins on steroids. The nannies come to the rescue of befuddled parents and caregivers, and they turn all the little imps (sorry… it’s true) into model children using little more than Dr. Phil types of advice. The nannies do everything so much better than anyone else can, and they make it look super easy. Reaction among nannies in the real world that you and I inhabit has been mixed, but tends toward not loving it and here are some of the reasons why:"

Chaos On Wall Street..............by Dan Friedman
And I went down to the demonstration
To get my fair share of abuse
--Rolling Stones, You Can't Always Get What You Want
This video from Breitbart shows there’s volatility on Wall Street and, except to produce charges of police brutality, I still can’t figure what these kids want. Notice the many cops in white shirts who are in the midst of the action. Those are senior officers who have, I assume, been put in place to lead their men and make it known that the tactics being used have the brass’s blessings. Likewise, all the men in blue recording the scene with camcorders.
NB: We’re having a beautiful autumn in New York and most likely these “protests” will grow until it turns cool and rainy.

Three treasonous conspirators............from Rico
My LEO pals will clearly understand the import of these four words:
- intentional
- willfull
- witting
- voluntary
The rest can look them up, along with the police 10-code call "10-31!" [crime in progress]
These criminals (and their enablers and useful idiots) are intentionally, knowingly, and of their own free will attempting to destroy the Constitution and all that it stands for.

A sign....................from Rico
This 2012 bumper sticker is a sign.
The 'young' vote (the ones who 'text' on their smart phones) may have figured out the scam, the fraud, and are laughing out loud (LOL) at the Barry.
I hope Dick Morris is right when he opines that Barry won't run, but I am wondering if he's smart enough to understand WHY?

What's The Use Talking?.........by Dan Friedman
Poor Elliott Abrams, he must the loneliest guy at the CFR. If anyone over there can be dubbed a “friend of Israel” it’s him. But that alone doesn’t qualify Abrams to be the only guy sitting by himself in the company cafeteria. He earns that distinction by exposing the gaping gaps between the “peace process” fantasy and the hard reality on the ground. In this case, he shows us that even the most moderate “Palestinian” begins to sound like Arafat when our backs are turned. Still, the CFR is in the business of “diplomacy” and Abrams knows which side his bread is buttered on. So he never connects the dots - leaving the rest of us to draw the obvious conclusion. The Arabs don’t want peace with Israel. Never have. Like the rest of the Muslim world they want Israel to go away. And talking to them is an utter waste of time.
