Silver - Talk to me in 20 years......................from Rico

Silver is talking.

- Anybody listening?

1932 - Silver sells for $0.25/oz, $100 buys ~400oz.

1962 - Silver sells for $1.20/oz, $100 buys ~83oz.

1982 - Silver sells for $10.60/oz, $100 buys ~9oz.

2012 - Silver sells for $31/oz, $100 buys ~3oz.

Talk to me in twenty years.

    But 10 years ago it was $4 an ounce and you could buy 25 ounces and now its $20. Still like your columns.

    I don't see any point to this.
    If you look at the rise of the DJIA over the same period, plus dividends, silver has achieved no better. I don't include silver storage costs.
    So I call "bullshit"!
