The chatter about 'recovery' or 'green shoots' or...well, frankly anything being discussed by the teleprompter readers is just meaningless noise.

- The forest is being 'missed' for the trees.

Let's step way from the individual tree's and look at the forest.

The 'trend' downward actually began with that one-term disaster (1977-81) known as Jimmy Carter.

- This trend is NOT your friend. Neither was Jimmy.

Imagine the damage a similar chart will show of the years following two-terms of Barry the Poseur, who is intentionally driving the trend lower and at a much faster pace than Jimmy set.

- If you haven't figured it out yet, Barry is NOT your friend either.
