The American public, unfettered by layers of bureaucratic 'streamlining' and possessed of an inalienable common sense completely absent within its own Government, has responded clearly....and it did not take long!
- Meanwhile, back in the never-never fantasy land of Washingtoon, DC our political Lords and Ladies of the appointed [read: unelected] Federal bureaucracy are still scratching their heads and wonderng what all the fuss is about and/or saying let them travel another way then, the ingrates! After ALL we do to....er, FOR them!
Our elected Royalty have 'deemed' not to care or to notice anything amiss. "What, me worry?" is their order of the day.

Give diabolical killers the same rights as U.S. citizens, and forget about achieving justice for those murdered by heinous acts of terrorism. Yeah, that oughta work. Once again, the Obama team has revealed itself to be entirely incompetent and has proved, maybe even to themselves, the obvious: the Bush administration had it right. And in fact, maybe we should do away with both civilian trials and military tribunals and just hold these killers until hostilities end. You know, like they do in wars.Eminently true, but clueless leftists continue to push back, to say nothing of the White House: "Senior Administration Official Defends Ghailani Trial, Verdict."

We just got back from hanging out with a bunch of Navajo cowboy folks from Triple B Association—a bronc & bull riding league catering to the Indian community of the American Southwest. Over the course of a week, we tailed several of the Association’s best and up-and-coming riders from across New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We take a peek into their incredible lives—from training for, traveling to and from, and competing in rodeos to hanging on the rez, dealing with fam, and just trying to make ends meet in some of the most impoverished parts of the country.
As it’s received more and more mainstream exposure over the years, bull and bronc riding has become a big-buck industry, but at the level these young Navajo compete in the winnings are low, the press is scarce, and the risks of just getting in the saddle every day are terrifying.

Jason Dunham successfully completed a combined builder's and acceptance "super trial" during four days at sea. The ship is in Ft. Lauderdale for her commissioning on Nov. 13. The ship is named after U.S. Marine Cpl. Jason Dunham, who was mortally wounded by insurgents in Iraq in April 2004 and posthumously received the Medal of Honor January 11, 2007.
