ARABIAN SEA (Dec. 10, 2010) The guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey (DDG 97), the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72) and the French navy aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle (R 91) are underway in formation in the Arabian Sea. The Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the region.
