The village is located approximately 25 miles north of Kandahar and is being used as a patrol base for the U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment. Al Gore, Nobel Prize Winner...For What?

Al Gore, Nobel Peace Prize winner, who warned everyone about global warming. Where is he now that the northeast US is shut down by a huge blizzard during a harsh winter that includes England and Europe as well?
And why isn't anyone concerned that President Obama keeps talking about climate change just like Al?

How Was Your Christmas?
Via William Teach:

I've been enjoying the holidays, and especially the intense debate among progressives over the Julian Assange rape allegations. Seriously. I'm learning a lot. See today's entry, "Rehabilitated Moe Tkacik Dishes on Robert Stacy McCain!", and "Sady Doyle Bleats Non-Apologies After Getting Moe Tkacik Fired for Speaking Truth to Feminist Hypocrisy." And most of the entries can be found at my "feminism" tag. Goes without saying, but I doubt these ladies have much in common with Alessandra Ambrosia at the gif above.

Video: Merry Christmas From Afghanistan 2
So... the story is. It was Christmas morning in Afghanistan and we had just invented a new game we like to call Rock Wars. It's alot like paintball except instead of paintball guns and paintballs we just throw rocks at each other and when you get hit you are out. The Taliban don't like it when we play Rock Wars and they shoot at us every time we play... We played alot of Rock Wars Christmas morning. Merry Christmas and enjoy

UK & US patriots have something in common...
Americans have quite a bit in common with their British counterparts in this holiday season. Americans have had to experience the tone-deaf arrogance of the Lame Duck Congress ignoring the frustrations expressed in November. In the UK Britons feel a profound frustration and the arrogance of the European Parliament.
