Egypt's Muslim Brotherhood
According to the Muslim Brotherhood, jihad,
that is, holy war against the infidels, is one of the fundamental
elements spread by the Muslim Brotherhood. The organization's ideology,
as it appears on its official website, regards "the Prophet Muhammad
as its leader and ruler, and jihad as its path." Jihad
has a global strategy beyond self-defense; it is the unceasing attack
on every infidel rule, intended to widen the borders of the Islamic
state until all mankind lives under the Islamic flag.

Recovery charted!!!............from Rico
This chart is PROOF of the recovery! Just ask the people who GAVE it to us (the Dem's (C)).
- Thanks Joe & Barry!
- And let's not forget to WHOM we entrusted the reins [read purse strings] of Congress to in 2006, either...so swell job Harry & Nancy!
Look at the annual progress (compare February of 07-08-09-10 respectively) that has been made helping the little guy!
on the other hand
All this droning-on about 'recovery' is not much more than all FED QE "hat" and no systemic economic growth "cattle."
- The REAL economy (the one outside the D.C. Beltway) is so detached from the long discreditede media "managed perception" economy that all a sane person can retort with to the talk of a return to the 'good old days' from that remota island known as reality is "whatever" .....like sparrows farting in the general direction of typhoon.

Oh, and did I mention Iran?..........by Dan Friedman
[Don’t let the turmoil in Egypt obscure the inexorable rise of a nuclear-armed Iran. The two taken together can only compound and intensify the explosive situation already developing in the Middle East since Obama took office. So in the nick of time, PJTV’s Roger Simon reminds us of an important documentary which takes us inside the Iranian regime. df]
THE THREAT OF A NUCLEAR IRAN is looming over America and the world. Despite being party to the international nuclear non-proliferation treaty implemented more than 30 years ago, Iran's leaders are adamant about continuing their pursuit of nuclear weapons.
Iranium, a new documentary film by Clarion Productions, depicts the danger behind the threat. The documentary will be available for free on Tuesday, Feb. 8, on its website. Click here to watch the trailer, and please tell your friends about this important film.
To really understand the severity of this issue, we must know the ideology of Iran's leaders. The 60-minute film uses rarely seen footage of them and interviews with 25 leading experts on Middle East policy, terrorism and nuclear proliferation -- including former U.N. Ambassador John Bolton and PJM writer Michael Ledeen. The film, which also features Iranian dissidents, visually demonstrates the hatred and violence exhibited by Iran's brutal leadership.
The experts interviewed in the film also explain how Iran could use its nuclear arsenal to exert leverage in the Middle East, and it sketches various potential scenarios of an Iran with nuclear weapons. For example, a nuclear Iran would trigger an arms race in the Middle East and have a huge impact on the cost and availability of oil, which would reverberate across the world.
As the film explains: "What happens when a regime that openly desires the destruction of nations obtains nuclear weapons? The world may suffer unthinkable consequences."

Super Bowl Ads
For some, the ads are more important than the game:
See: "Best Super Bowl Ads," and "Advertisers Raided the National Memory Banks on Super Bowl Sunday."

Winter in Missouri.........
It’s winter in Missouri
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 miles per hour at 52 below!
Oh, how I love Missouri
When the snow’s up to your butt;
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose is frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
You may think I’m a fool.
I could never leave Missouri ,
Cause I’m frozen to the stool.

Spc. Nicholas Francioso, armored crewman, assigned to 2nd Squad, 3rd Platoon, Company C., 1st Battalion, 66th Armored Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, kneels atop a cliff overlooking the Arghandab River Valley Jan. 31, to provide security for his squad as they climb up the cliff from the valley below. Francioso, a native of Cleveland, Ohio, was conducting a foot patrol with his squad to search orchards throughout the district and interact with the local population. During their foot patrols, 2nd squad must maneuver their way through the Arghandab‘s many obstacles, including: farmer-built mud walls, irrigation canals, densely populated orchards, foot-wide pathways through long stretches of boggy flats and even a 30-foot-tall wall they must climb during their patrol.
