NOT 'solved' just delayed..........from Rico
The Greek problem in EUroland is NOT solved, but the 'solution' and day of reckoning has once again been delayed for a little while.
The latest 'solution' ONLY demonstrates the power of Government to force their Banks to take 'voluntary' haircuts...and also that politicrats are math-challenged.
A 50% haircut? Puh-lease! Pull the other leg why don't you?
Here is some EUro math that isn't being clearly 'told' to you:
e350 billion is the Greek debt
<70 billion> or more in Troika loans are untouched
_______
280 billion remains
<75 billion> or more is being held by the ECB and remains untouched
_______
~200 billion would be the remaining debt to get the haircut
x50% so apply the fifty percent, ignoring the e35 billion held by Greek pension funds [and sit back and wait for the Greeks to realize that their pensions have been nicely 'halved'; do you think the civil unrest in Greece has been anything but a prelude to the BIG riot when this happens?]
So, when double-talking 'leaders' say 50% but it's really closer to 28%, you are at best being unintentionally misinformed, and at worst being blatantly lied to.
- Gee...would a politician lie to save his butt?
With only e100 billion of Greek debt really being eliminated, and a Greek GDP that was e230 billion on 31 Dec 2010 (and sinking fast this year), what we have not seen is a solution, but a funeral of sorts.
- Media hype and temporary Market response is retarded.....

The difference...........from Rico
These three panels do a far better job of explaining the "difference" between the Tea Party and the OWS mob.
Sentient carbon-based life forms will immediately grasp what is eluding the MSM, the Communist (D) party, and well...Obama's kids.

In the Islamic World Nature Fills a Vacuum With Islam...............by Dan Friedman
More evidence to reinforce the view that Obama is facilitating the systematic Islamization of the Middle East. Yet another Obama foreign policy debacle the Republican candidates should be homing in on now. After all, if one of them becomes president it’ll be part of the heavy baggage Obama leaves behind.

Fiat bailout............from Rico
This is what a global fiat "bailout" looks like on one chart.
Silver is up 11% since last Friday (and 16.7% since Thursday last).
Gold is up 8.5% from Thursday last.
The US Dollar [DXY] is 1.6% weaker.
And anyone having the misfortune of holding Greek bonds should have just learned that their Credit Default Swaps are 100% worthless.

Word of the Day - Ineptocracy
Does this describe the present day state of national affairs or what?
(in-ept-oc-ra-cy) A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers

Barocky Road
Barocky Road is a blend of half vanilla, half chocolate, and surrounded by nuts and flakes. The vanilla portion of the mix is not openly advertised and usually denied as an ingredient. The nuts and flakes are all very bitter and hard to swallow.
The cost is $82.84 per scoop...so out of a hundred dollar bill you are at least promised some CHANGE..!
When purchased it will be presented to you in a large beautiful cone, but after you pay for it, the ice cream is taken away and given to the person in line behind you at no charge.
You are left with an empty wallet, staring at an empty cone and wondering what just happened.
Stimulating isn't it?
