Thought for the Day....
Just how much help is Obama getting from Tony Blair?
Blair was the first 'person of importance' to meet Obama. Everything Obama has done reeks of Blairs first days in power in 1997. The media thingy, the rushing through of really silly policies without any kind of debate. There is something way too familiar about their first days in power. Has Obama 'borrowed' Blairs strategy or are they working in cahoots?

Let's have that TEA PARTY now.......by Rico
I for one am ready. YES! Let's HAVE that TEA PARTY now, shall we?
This is my intended contribution to the mailing effort intended to deluge 1600 Pennsylvania on April 15th...unless, of course, I can 'improve' on it before then. Any suggestions?
I wonder if this is too subtle a message for the President? Maybe we can get it displayed on his teleprompter?
More Liberty, Less Government, Lower Taxes
Hmmmmm. I'll have to work on that.........

Is a computer Male or Female?
A foreign language teacher was explaining to her class that, unlike their English counterparts, French nouns are grammatically designated as masculine or feminine.
Things like ‘chalk’ or ‘pencil,’ she described, would have a gender association although in English these words were neutral. Confused, one student raised his hand and asked, “What gender is a computer?”
The French teacher wasn’t sure which gender it was, so she invited the class into two groups and asked them to decide if a computer should be masculine or feminine. One group was comprised of the women in the class, and the other of men. Both groups were asked to give four reasons for their recommendation.
The group of women concluded that computers should be referred to in masculine gender because:
1. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
2. They have a lot of data but are still clueless.
3. They are supposed to help you solve your problems, but half the time they ARE the problem.
4. As soon as you commit to one, you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have had a better model.
The men, on the other hand, decided that computers should definitely be referred to in the feminine gender because:
1. No one but their creator understands their internal logic.
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
3. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
4. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your wages on accessories.

GOOD ‘OL BOYS
Two good ol' boys in a trailer park are sitting around talking one afternoon over a cold beer after getting off of work at the local Ford plant.
After a while the 1st guy says to the 2nd, “If 'n I was to sneak over to your trailer Saturday & make love to your wife while you was off huntin' and she got pregnant and had a baby, would that make us kin?”
The 2nd guy crooks his head sideways for a minute, scratches it, and squints his eyes, thinking real hard about the question. Finally, he says, “Well, I don't know about kin, but it would make us even.”

The Wrong Bust..........by Rico
To anyone paying any attention (this excludes roughly 52% of voting Americans) one of many early 'clues' that the pResidency of Obama would be a "bust" was the return of Winston Churchill's bust (which was on loan to the Oval Office from Britain as a show of support and solidarity).
-I suspect Jimmy Carter has been lobbying for the installation of Yassir Arafat's likeness.
I maintain that we got rid of the WRONG bust...but I like England far too much to punish them with the likes of Obama.

BANKRUPT.....from Rico
There used to be a saying "backed by the full faith and credit of the United States." Maybe there still is, but who are you going to believe these days?
-I wouldn't put a penny into Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or US Bonds (Treasurys) right now... but then I have to set-aside some money so I can pay for any emergent combat-related health issues that Obama doesn't want the VA to cover. (For "full faith" read: BOHICA)
YESTERDAY:
The FED creating huge amounts of money out of thin air yesterday seems to have cheered the gullible ones at least.
NOW:
The US is already BANKRUPT. With a debt roughly four times the size of its economy (US debt $55 trillion vs. $14 trillion in value) we are technically broke. Insolvent.
NEXT:
Hyperinflation
