WHAT GENDER ARE THEY?
ZIPLOC BAGS - male, because they hold everything in, but you can always see
right through them.
SWISS ARMY KNIFE - male, because even though it appears useful for a wide
variety of work, it spends most of its time just opening bottles.
KIDNEYS - female, because they always go to the bathroom in pairs.
SHOE - male, because it is usually unpolished, with its tongue hanging out.
COPIER - female, because once turned off, it takes a while to warm up.
TIRE - male, because it goes bald and often is over inflated.

European language commission.
The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5- year phase-in plan that would become known as "Euro-English".
In the first year, "s" will replace the soft "c". Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy.. The hard "c" will be dropped in favour of "k". This should klear up konfusion, and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome "ph" will be replaced with "f". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the 3rd year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letters which have always ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent "e" in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer peple wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing "th" with "z" and "w" with "v".

I gassed-on about last week's auction of Treasuries before the disappointing results were apparent.
Laying-off the US Government debt is becoming more difficult as demand wanes for bonds in the face of higher risk (witness the hisoric yields being demanded).
Bigger news than that, however, is the fascinating game of three-card monty being played by the Fed. All sub rosa. None of it being reported to the public by the MSM a.k.a. The Ministry of Truth. But to anyone looking, this is HUGE news!
-47% of the bonds auctioned last week were quietly taken by the Fed and put on its balance sheet.
- So? This is the Fed monetizing US Gov't debt because demand for the debt (a) is NOT as high as we're being told, and (b) things are much worse than represented.
Taxes will be going up, but there will not be enough money even at a 100% tax rate to keep the USG from going over the financial cliff. We're approaching the end of things....

Las Vegas Boy Dies After Getting Stranded in Death Valley
It all started as a fun camping trip 1 August for a mother and her young son, an adventure in the desert. The warning signs came early, a flat tire, but they changed it and continued to drive on - not considering they now had no spare - they also had no maps, compasses, or signalling devices (no cell phone coverage way out there in Death Valley). After the second breakdown, 24 16-oz. bottles of water, Pop Tarts and cheese sandwiches didn't last too long.
The Desert will kill you with boring regularity, if you let it.
They recovered the mother last Thursday, the 5th. She told them her son had died the day before.
One of the scariest times I had in North Africa was the time I took a wrong turn and strayed off track; by the time I did a map check and figured out where we were, we were over a hundred miles from the track.

Rico writes: This is one of the ealy temblors before the big quake. When enough average folks just cannot countenance the direction an unheeding Government is going, things WILL get very ugly indeed.
It will NOT be about domestic "terrorism" but rather about whether wearing the chains of a slave or being "free" is more important.
If I wanted to live in Cuba, venezuela, Red China, Russia, or any number of places where individual freedom does not exist (how about the Sudan where slavery IS legal?) I'd live there

When the storm finally hits (and it will), those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won’t just be us gun owners or Flat Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You’ll be right there next to us.
You see, you all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know, all of us who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc. And you thought you could just go back to sleep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You’ll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television – it’s all good. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost – go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as “politics as usual” – “the same old stuff”. In the end, it’ll all be OK won’t it?
Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government’s grab of personal freedom, it’s blatant abuse of the constitution, and it’s attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won’t start that fight, but when it goes down I will join it.
As for you, why… you’ll be shocked because you didn’t see it coming. And eventually you’ll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You’ll be saddened that your children and grandchildren live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you’ll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in.
You know, McCain wasn’t much of a candidate. I’ll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don’t blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn’t know what we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way of life and he understood that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation.
All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America. They’re not militia groups, terrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe…they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Peaceful Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, wait for it…get ready. It will happen.
When that event happens, whatever “it” is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country.
