U.S. War in Iraq Declared Officially Over
Yes, we can claim we won in Iraq --- and that's what the president did Wednesday in North Carlolina --- but it's an especially triumphant victory given that we beat our foes on the ground in combat as well as our hate-America progressive political foes here at home.
See: "War in Iraq Officially Over."

Wars And Rumours Of Wars
From Greg @ The Compass
With the exception of Ron Paul, it appears every Republican in the field is quite willing to start a war with Iran.
With unemployment still high and the economy still weak, doubtful that foreign policy will figure much in the election, but it's worth considering how the discussion on Iran would play out between the GOP nominee (assuming it's not Paul) and 44. GOP Nominee X will declare his or her intention to bomb Iran if it came to it, and 44 will say that he's definitely open to the possibility.
Whatever misgivings the U.S. public had about the Iraq war are fading (alongside, not coincidentally, American attention to what is actually happening inside Iraq) so it is obviously politically safer to muse openly about starting another war.

Baldrick's take on the Euro.........

Baldrick: "What I want to know sir, is before there was a Euro there were lots of different types of money that different people used. And now there's only one type of money that the foreign people use. And what I want to know is, how did we get from one state of affairs to the other state of affairs"
Blackadder: "Baldrick. Do you mean, how did the Euro start?"
Baldrick: "Yes sir"
Blackadder: "Well, you see Baldrick, back in the 1980's there were many different countries all running their own finances and using different types of money. On one side you had the major economies of France , Belgium , Holland and Germany , and on the other, the weaker nations of Spain , Greece , Ireland , Italy and Portugal . They got together and decided that it would be much easier for everyone if they could all use the same money, have one Central Bank, and belong to one large club where everyone would be happy. This meant that there could never be a situation whereby financial metldown would lead to social unrest, wars and crises".
Baldrick: "But this is sort of a crisis, isn't it sir".
Blackadder: "That's right Baldrick. You see, there was only one slight flaw with the plan".
Baldrick: "What was that then sir?"
Blackadder: "It was bollocks".

Guess Who's Buying Gun Companies?.................from Rico
WHY does this NOT surprise me?
Just like the globalist, American-hating, destructive-of-freedom, one-worlder socialist, and puppet-master to Barry that Soros IS demonstrated to be, yeah....this makes sense.
I knew he was behind "progessive" insurance..you know that 'perky' brunette that is featured in the TV commercials, right? He must laff his ass off at all the idiots that (a) think that 'progressive' is a good thing, and (b) do NOT get the inside 'joke' of this! [In political terms when I 'hear' progressive I 'think' oppressive and am mindful of the millions of souls enslaved by and/or murdered by this philosophy.]
I had just read a story about a 'mystery company' that was busily buying up arms companies. Gee, I'll check again but Cerberus actually IS a Soros-controlled entity, and this does NOT bode well for those who think the 2nd Amendment is there just-in-case their government "forgets" about the other Amendments...
Look up the mythological creature "Cerberus"....this fits, too, but it's a rather BAD joke upon us.
These "leftist-progressive" zombies just will not die. It'll take more than garlic and stakes through the heart to stop this infestation....
