With a landslide victory in the Egyptian elections under their belt, the Brotherhood and friends are going to dominate Egypt’s new government, and gain growing influence in the fast-changing Middle East. Good thing Obama received assurances from the Bros that they are just progressive democrats like him. That’s such a relief. Imagine if they turned out to be Islamists (like him?) instead.

Smokejumping was developed in the late 1930's as a means to quickly reach fires in remote road-less areas for initial attack. The primary mission of a smokejumper is fighting fire! Along with parachuting, smokejumpers may be delivered to fires via helicopter, by vehicle or on foot. Smokejumpers are considered a national resource and are occasionally deployed as a 20-person crew throughout the United States.

"Doc" Allen Hoe served as an Infantryman during Vietnam. His unit was attacked during the bloodiest battle in Vietnam "The Battle of Kham Duc," Doc Hoe survived along with the flag that he carried. He later passed the flag to his Son, Nainoa Hoe, during his tour in Iraq.
