Obama's "Arab Spring" Bearing Fruit Already.............by Dan Friedman
This should come as pleasant news to freedom lovers everywhere, but especially to the red, white and blue thumb-suckers at Commentary and The Weekly Standard. Just as they predicted, democracy is beginning to flourish in Egypt. For one thing, “the moderate” Mohamed El Baredei, who is seeking the presidency, is taking full advantage of freedom of speech. Why just yesterday he declared, without a hint of trepidation, that “if Israel attacked Gaza we would declare war against the Zionist regime."
His use of “Zionist regime,” a quaint term lifted from the terrorists’ training manual, and his preemptive declaration of war, would never be allowed in Mubarak’s Egypt. My guess is it was an amateurish slip of the tongue by a man who is still getting the hang of the democracy thing.

My ten cents worth...........from Rico
I saw this somewhere, and it is perhaps the clearest 'explanation' of what the FED's policy of currency devaluation [read: inflation] actually is. In broad daylight, right under our noses, we are being robbed...and most will never know it!
"If you haven't yet figured out that you're getting screwed by the FED through the contrived form of theft that is known as inflation, consider that a pre-1965 silver dime will now purchase a gallon of gasoline."

CONFUCIUS DIDN'T SAY
Man who wants pretty nurse, must be patient.
Passionate kiss, like spider web, leads to undoing of fly.
Better to be pissed off than pissed on.
Secretary not permanent till screwed on desk.
Lady who goes camping must beware of evil intent.
Squirrel who runs up woman's leg will not find nuts.
Man who leaps off cliff jumps to conclusion.
Man who runs in front of car gets tired, man who runs behind car gets exhausted.
Man who eats many prunes get good run for money.
Man who stand on corner with hands in pocket feel cocky.
War does not determine who is right, it determines who is left.
Man who fight with wife all day get no piece at night.
It takes many nails to build a crib, but one screw to fill it.
Man who drives like hell is bound to get there.
Man who stands on toilet is high on pot.
Man who live in glass house should change clothes in basement.
Man who fish in other man's well often catch crabs.
Finally CONFUCIUS DID SAY. . .
"A lion will not cheat on his wife, but a Tiger Wood!"

It’s Official.............by DJ Elliott
The approved Centennial of Naval Aviation video is out:
We are the most Aviation-centric military in the world.
When people talk about Asymmetric warfare - I laugh.
The US Military is Asymmetric to all ather militaries.
What other army in the world has an aviation brigade in every division in addition to the corps/army level aviation? If the IA was building to true US standards they would need 17 aviation brigades with 64 squadrons to go with their existing divs.
To the rest of the world [incl IA], aviation brigades are corps/army level assets...
What other marine corps pairs equal numbers of aviation bns with ground bns? Effectively the USMC is a 3 way split between BLTs, Squadrons, and support.
What other navy has its entire structure based around carriers [CVN/LHD/LHA]? Most navies are doing good to have a carrier...
And on top of the air forces of those 3 services, WE ALSO HAVE THE USAF. As if we didn't have enough air. And our USAF has aircraft other countries can't afford.
The only countries that approach the US aviation strength are Russia and China. Both have ground-force components 3+ times as large as the US...
We are the Asymmetric Military - Radical Aviation centric compared to all others...
