Green shoots or Galoshes?.............from Rico
Recovery? Green shoots of?
The economy cannot function without jobs. Having lost jobs for 24 consecutive months, with unemployment and underemployment at 'unprecedented' highs (over 20%), how anyone can claim we have a recovery is ludicrous. How anyone can believe these preposterous claims is....well, frankly stupid.
Having a paying job is the bedrock of this economy. There can be no recovery without jobs.
The number of States that are 'broke' and have to 'borrow' unemployment funds from the Federal Gov't belies any crazy talk about "recovery"...one is better reaching for the galoshes. The crap spewing forth from the gooberment and the MSM is piling up pretty quickly and deeply!
- Galoshes it is!

Dominoes............from Rico
WRT to Greek problem, Barcleh's did a nice flow chart of it. Essentially, the watershed will likely be whether the EU or the IMF handle the Greek bailout.
BUT we should be looking further afield. There are even bigger problems. California...with a GDP many times the size of Greece... is broke and may have to look to the US Federal gub'mint, which is also broke.
So, while economies in the EUrozone may follow Greece like dominoes, think what will happen if the California (the Michigan, then...) domino falls over?

Movie Review: 'The Last King of Scotland'

Short Review: A film expressing the dangers of living frivolously in a dangerous world. So, in essence, it is a film that warns against doing all of the things Hollywood has been telling us to do for the last forty years.

GDP blowout?...........from Rico
If you believe the Minsitry of Truth and the Guv'mint, 4Q 2009 saw a GDP blowout of 5.7 percent to the upside! Whee! Happy days are here again!
Right.
This is exactly like running up the balance on your credit card and bragging about how much "richer" you now are!
If GDP was calculated like a "balance sheet" you'd have to subtract the increase in liabilities
...but gummint doesn't do things that way.
Wait for the later 'stealth' revision of this aazing number. Downward.
- How many remember the breathless announceent of 3Q 2009's GDP increase of 3.6 percent (much less its late downward revision to 2.2 percent) or noted this was an 'adjustment' of 38% to the downside?
Anyone who believes the statistics and numbers coming out ot today's gooberment is an idiot.
And just for fun, speaking of "balance sheets" here is what the FED's balance sheet looks like today. Like a fat ass, it will only get bigger and bigger. This chart absolutely screams "buy dollars, NOW!" does it not?
- Worth noting: foreign holdings are decreasing.

Make NO mistake. War IS being waged..................from Rico
Make NO mistake about it. War IS being waged...by the political classes against the middle class.
If our politicians wanted it any differently, the middle class would not be being pushed into debt slavery and dependence upon the largesses of government handouts.
- Middle America as urban Detroit. Welcome to Kulakistan! This is the real plan. The real dream. Great plan, you socialist swine.
Adjusted wages are up 20% over the past 20 years, while housing costs are up 56% and health-care costs are up 155% (and that's before the brilliant idea to get government 'involved' to lower costs).
When the TOTUS Berry Obama-Soetero proposes aid for the middle class, you had better watch your asses! When the reptiles in Congress and this Marxist-pretender finish with you, why you'll have a perfect life...as long as it does not require eating food!

THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
I've studied revolutionary politics for more than twenty years, as a part of my professional career development.
Perhaps people are not aware of a phenomena taking place right now, all around us?
I'm sure that most of you did not have a chance to see this incredible video I am looking at right now. I don't think that I have ever seen anything quite like it.
