Most pro-Israel president ever? Heh..................by Dan Friedman
There is a whole side of the Zionist narrative the Left in Israel has tried – with some success - to smother and obscure. The Shmuel Katz blog, edited by David Isaac, endeavors to counter that trend and analyze today’s events in Israel and the Middle East through the eyes of Shmuel Katz, who in turn was a disciple, biographer and comrade-in-arms to the great Zionist leader Ze'ev Jabotinsky. The site itself is a trove of writing, video and photos linking that era to the present day.

New York Man Set Woman on Fire Over Debt
It's a horrible story, and a truly grisly murder.
See: "Suspect Burned 73-Year-Old Doris Gillespie Over Debt."
The suspect sprayed the old woman with gasoline in an elevator. He threw a Molotov inside just as he backed out and the woman burned to death inside. The neighbors simply thought it was a fire in the building.
There's pictures and a video at the link.

Leaving Iraq
War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself. - John Stuart Mill English economist & philosopher (1806 - 1873)
Among some foreign policy analysts, the popular conclusion regarding the U.S. invasion and occupation of Iraq is that the U.S. won the war…for Iran.
In practical terms, however, predicting anything about the future of the Middle East these days is likely to leave one looking foolish. Who thought Tunisians would toss out their dictator? Or that Egyptians would demand and get Mubarack to resign? Or that Syrians, after two generations of dictatorship, would turn on the Assad family? Revolution is in the air in the Middle East which is to say that change—rapid change—is the order of the day.

Video Shows Egypt Brutality in Crackdown on Protesters
It's senseless.
See: "Unbelievable Brutality in Egypt's Crackdown on Protesters."
The police rip off the woman's abaya as she's beaten with truncheons and stomped in the breasts. And she's already unconscious. The protesters that tried to help the woman were attacked as well. The video shows police opening fire on the protesters. See the entire clip at the link.

Ron Paul: Kook, Racist, Libertarian or All of The Above?.................by Dan Friedman
I had second thoughts about sending around this inflammatory item about Ron Paul. The case it makes against Paul is not exactly linear or constructed very simply. Still, there’s enough substance here to pique the curiosity, especially that of the media, which went all out to reveal unseemly writing on a rock at the entrance of Rick Perry’s land – and kept the story percolating for over a week.
Of course, Paul is never going to be president but he could help Obama get reelected if he ran as an independent. That alone would be enough incentive for the MSM to keep their mitts off Mr. Paul, and more than enough incentive for me to pass it along.

Subject: Christmas lights..............from Rico
I love Christmas lights.
They remind me of the people who voted for Obama.
They all hang together; half of the suckers don't work,
and the ones that do, aren't that bright.
