Not by incompetence, but by DESIGN.....................from Rico
Say what you will about Barry (I certainly do), he is NOT an incompetent.
- He has, in fact, been wildly successful. Far more effective than Eugene McCarthy or Jimmy Carter, or any other Socialist utopian moron to be engaged in politics.
Do NOT confuse incompetence with DESIGN.
Consider:
- "Political Activists" [rhymes with Community Organizer] Richard Clowen and Frances Piven in 1966 outlined their strategy: overload the US system in order to precipitate a 'crisis' that would lead to its replacement by a national system (eliminating poverty and creating paradise on earth).
Now consider:
- The percentage of working age Americans with jobs has been below 59% for 34 consecutive months.
- Since Barry became TOTUS, the number of Americans living in poverty has risen by over 6 million and the number of Americans on Food Stamps has risen by 14 million.
- Barry has now engaged Mexico in an effort to further increase Food Stamp useage.
Overloading the financial system, destroying the Middle Class, and crashing the economy isn't a failed policy or incompetence, but a willful and intentional implementation of the Cloward-Piven Strategy.
Nice work, Commie-boy!!

No Exit.....................by Dan Friedman
The Bulgaria bombing only complicates the Syria question. “The Iranians would love to see Israel retaliate against Hezbollah in a limited way,” said Yoram Schweitzer, a senior research fellow at the Institute for National Security Studies. “It can create belligerent acts that could help Syria. The Iranians are very keen on helping Assad as his situation is getting worse and worse.”
-- The last word in a very shallow NYT report today entitled “Israel Is Forced to Rethink Its Regional Strategies”
[It takes many perversions of thought and language to fabricate the anti-Israel “narrative.” One of my favorites is the assertion that thwarting your enemy will only be playing into their hands. This idiotic - and nearly funny - line of reasoning is often used by “experts” quoted in the media, both here and in Israel. It doesn’t take a political scientist to figure out that presenting Israel with these phony Hobson’s Choices is simply a propagandist’s tool designed to freeze Israel in the headlights or steer it in a certain direction. The now-defunct “demographic time bomb” and the critically ill “it will ruin Israel’s democracy” are both examples of the same species. Lately, it’s most often been invoked by the kibitzing class to discourage Israel from taking the nuclear bat out of Iran’s hands. But as Obama’s Middle East continues to unravel around Israel’s edges (as part of his plan?) Israel is now confronted with multiple critical choices and so the defeatists’ gospel of inaction is reproducing in other areas as well.
Through no fault of its own (except being Jewish), life and death decisions have been Israel’s lot since the very beginning - and it’s never been easy. If the wise heads in Israel are to see their country prevail this time around, shying away from acting quickly and decisively to neutralize the new threats is an option that does not belong on the table. Waiting to do the inevitable has always made matters worse. df]

Comic books. Barry the joke...............from Rico
It took absolutely no time...nanoseconds, for the MSM to say that the Colorado movie shooting imitated a scene from a 1986 Batman comic book.
- So why the bloody Hell after all these years do we STILL not know a single substantive thing about our boy Barry?
Oh, have I failed to mention yet that CNN's (the Communist News Network) Piers Morgan who is already calling for gun control can BITE ME?

Shooting Massacre at Movie Theater in Colorado
It's a terrible, terrible tragedy for those killed or injured. But it's especially tragic that the left-wing media almost immediately tried to blame conservatives and the tea party for the attack.
Plus:
* "Jessica Redfield Killed in Aurora Movie Theater Massacre — Aspiring Sportscaster Survived Toronto Shopping Mall Shooting Last Month."
* "Obama Supporters Cheer 'Four More Years' During President's Tribute to Colorado Shooting Victims."
* "Colorado Theater Shooting: Gunman Looked 'Ready to Go Into Battle'."
Again, there's too much breaking video to load here, so check the links. The suspected gunman, James Holmes, was armed with an AR-15 assault rifle, a Remington 12-gauge shotgun, and a .40-caliber Glock handgun. Authorities found another Glock in the suspect's car.

Colorado tragedy: MSM of course blames the Tea Party and then backtracks when proven wrong!...from Mike Haltman at TPC
Meredith was RIGHT!................from Rico
Does anyone recall Jefferson County, Alabama? How about Harrisburg or Scranton, Pennsylvania?
- Muni default, bankruptcy anyone? Bueller...
As Compton prepares to become the fourth muni to go belly-up in California, it's worth bearing several things in mind:
- Victorville and Montebello, CA are in the batter's box while Oakland and Los Angeles are warming up.
- As Californie goes, so goes the Nation.
Meredith Whitney was absolutely correct in Dec 2010 predicting a wave of municipal bond defaults...she was just EARLY (well, isn't that exactly the point of forecasting?).
- Of course, the FTV teleprompter readers jumped all over here (and one another) pooh-poohing her 'call'...guess who seems to be right?
It is looking like that 'wave' is starting.
- Surf's up!

Follow the money..............from Rico
It was Watergate's "deep throat" who famously said: "follow the money."
Let's do just that!
Can you see where the money comes from that is going to BOTH Romney and Barry?
- Gee, what a surprise.
This is WHY nothing ever seems to "change" (for the better, that is), they are both bought and paid for by monied interests 'hedging' their bets.
If you had not yet 'noticed' it before, the two American parties (one gang color red, the other gang color blue) are the political equivalent of the Bloods vs. the Crips (with their respective gang colors of red and blue).
- Like ALL good gangbangers, loyalty to the gang is #1, followed by #2 - loyalty to what makes them money.
And YOU happy but cluelessly naive voter-taxpayer are merely victims of their drive-by shootings.

Murder Most Foul
As this is being written it is early Friday morning as the news media saturates us with what I call the “Five Known Facts Syndrome”, repeating the details of the Colorado movie theatre murders reported to have taken the lives of twelve victims with some fifty who have been injured.
We have a selective response to such news, a mixture of grief and anger that such events occur and focused on the fact it has happened here in the United States. That is only natural, but it also ignores the murders occurring throughout the world, whether it is the killing of Israeli tourists in Bulgaria earlier this week or the ongoing slaughter of an estimated 17,000 Syrians by yet another Middle East dictator.
Meanwhile Iran moves relentlessly toward the development of nuclear weapons that, if allowed to be built, will murder millions—first targeting Israel and then most certainly America. All the supposed “diplomacy” and “sanctions” in the world will not deter this predictable outcome.
Whether a movie theatre in Colorado or the attack on an entire nation, it speaks to the madness that exists worldwide, emanating in the Middle East, but which we have seen in Madrid, London, Bali, U.S. embassies in Tanzania and Kenya, and culminating in New York and Washington, D.C. on 9/11.
The President is scheduled to speak to the nation before Noon today and is not likely to make mention of the Fort Hood murders on November 5, 2009, but is very likely to call for more stringent gun control legislation at the same time the United Nations has fashioned an international treaty to disarm the world’s citizens and leave them even more vulnerable to tyranny.
The history of “civilization” is the history of warfare and terror. It is the history of individual assassinations that trigger wars or grandiose dreams of continental and worldwide domination.
The most dangerous creatures on Earth are humans and murder occurs daily whether it is an Islamic “honor killing” or the murder of a store clerk during a robbery for a few dollars. In Chicago these days the rate of murders rivals the deaths in Afghanistan. In hard times, the murder rate increases with the levels of desperation. The drug wars are a contributing factor in our nation’s cities.
We live in a nation that has jettisoned much of the moral guidelines that distinguished our society, our culture, abandoning the simple act of a morning prayer in the nation’s schools, the definition of marriage, and culminating in a federal government that sanctioned the “walking” of guns to provision the Mexican drug cartels as a ruse to blame the sale of guns to Americans whose right is established by the Second Amendment.
The result thus far of “Operation Fast and Furious” has been an Attorney General held in contempt of Congress and afforded the protection of “executive privilege” by order of the President of the United States.
Meanwhile, ordinary citizens must submit to humiliating “pat downs” in order to board an airplane while the same government fails to identify an illegal alien running a flight school that trained other illegals to do the same thing that culminated in the 9/11 attack.
The deaths of innocent movie-goers is tragic and dramatic, but the murder of a nation’s economy and the dreams of its citizens to get a college degree without going into debt, hold a job, own a home, run a business, or have a secure retirement, pails in comparison.
The perpetrators of this national murder hold high office, are entrusted to act in our best interest, but instead will exploit this latest tragedy, will slander a political opponent as a “felon”, and will continue their relentless destruction of America.
The international institution, the United Nations, will continue to turn a blind eye to the murder of Western civilization.

The statue of Joe Paterno still stands at Penn State University, so what do the people think?
Here are results that may surprise some of you. Close to 20% of those who voted think that the statue should stay right where it is.
Close to 20% of the participants think that the football contributions that Joe Paterno may have made at Penn State supersedes the fact that he basically stood idly by while an assistant coach committed multiple heinous acts of unspeakable sexual torture on innocent young boys...

Obama is Sick......................from Dan Friedman

House votes to prevent Obama sharing defense data with Russia
The House approved language on Thursday that would prevent the Obama administration from sharing classified information about U.S. missile defense technology with Russia. The language was proposed by Rep. Mo Brooks (R-Ala.) as an amendment to the 2013 Department of Defense spending bill and quickly approved by voice vote. Brooks said he proposed it as a reaction to the hot-mic conversation between President Obama and then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, in which he said he would have more flexibility on the issue of U.S. involvement in European missile defense after the November election.
