As usual (yawn) I already had my desk calendar marked ahead of time for "NFP/Raid COMEX" since the Non Farm Payroll is one of the key 'triggers' for the paper masters of the universe to pull a bombing raid on the spot metals market.
- Gold closing at $1795.20 and Silver closing $35.12 on the CRIMEX yesterday was an additional clue for what we were going to be in for today.
Guess that pretty much disqualifies me from EVER becoming one of the Keystone CFTC cops.
I did NOT anticipate O'Barry's complete failure at the first 'debate' the other night, however.
- He was lazy and stupid, and it was clear that (1) as Bill Maher admitted he DOES need his teleprompter, and (2) His Imperialness felt quite above having to participate in anything more mentally rigorous than a TV appearance with the bimbo's on The View.
Proving once again that perception is more important than reality, today we get some really fake numbers saying unemployment is now 'only' 7.8% and not 8.2%. Whee. The chocolate rations will also soon be increased I'm told, double-plus good, eh? [1984]
- John Williams of ShadowStats who does NOT 'cook the books' and does NOT work for the Government still says the 'real' non-fake number for unemployment is still running in the low 20% range.
- While the complete, unadulterated BS from the BLS has by now become commonplace and expected, I would have to agree with Jack Welch that these Chicago Boyz are not above blatantly 'jiggering' the numbers to get a headline lower unemployment number after Moochelle got done beating Barry's dumb ass for his crummy debate performance, and you just KNOW he picked up the phone and told the BLS to do a better job of making him 'look' good or they would find themselves unemployed.
But back to the CRIMEX.
- You can clearly 'see' the hammering PM's took today from the Cartel. It's just another 'coincidence' and you need to move along now. Nothing to see here.
None of the CFTC 'regulators' could be reached for comment, since once they punched-the-clock they immediately went on coffee break to plan for their weekends in the Hampton's and perhaps some partying with the BLS boys so they could compare notes on how to 'rig' the system for fun and promotion.

Was Obama Stoned?...............from Dan Friedman
Dishing the dirt. Was Obama stoned during the Denver debate? Beats me. But here’s a blogger and commentator who thinks he was: df

Ten Things to Know About Denver Debate
10. So, word is that Obama’s been detoxing since at least September....................By the end of the debate, Obama looked like he was aching for a new fix. This could be the reason Michelle Obama rushed him off stage and skipped the traditional “let’s waive to the crowd for a while” schtick. She could tell he needed to get out of sight because he totally lost it out there.

This 'look' says a lot!....................from Rico
The only time I have seen a 'happy' photo of Moochelle was either when she was on one of her fabulous taxpayer-funded luxury vacations, when snacking on one of her 15,000 calorie 'diet' meals, or when telling schoolkids to eat their vegetables and do with less food at school lunch.
Normally, this is one visibly angry and unhappy woman.
Her daggers 'look' shown here says a lot. Barry had just been intellectually 'spanked' in public and was revealed as the drug-addled loser he really is.
- Wanna bet she gave pansy-ass Barry a 'real' spanking later for likely blowing her shot at four more years of luxury?
I really liked Herman Cain's post debate assessment: "A grownup has shown up."
The bumper stickers are already on the market: We'll take the Mormon over the Moron
- Speaking of morons, even Bill maher had to admit "He really DOES need a teleprompter."

You Are Not Paranoid: Governments Really Are Tracking Your Every Movement
How would you feel if the government were tracking your every movement? They are, and Trifecta welcomes you to this new age of surveillance. Governments are tracking license plates, and recording them for prosperity. If elected president, should Mitt Romney dismantle this system of constant surveillance? Will a government bureaucrat be able to readily access footage of your first date? Your trip to the doctor? Find out.

Comments on the Debate I wish I had written (but didn't) Author unknown
I carefully watched the entire debate last night and although I am not an unbiased observer, the unquestionable conclusion by virtually everyone who watched was that Romney gave Obama an intellectual spanking. Being in a forum not controlled by leftist soft ball interviewers and surrounded by left wing supporters left Obama looking like a bewildered ignoramous.
News commentators this morning stated that Obama did not prepare adequately but I'm not sure that was the problem. Obama simply doesn't have the ammunition to compete in an honest debate. When I was in law school the comment was made by a professor relating to trial preparation that, "You can't make chicken soup out of chicken shit." This is Obama's problem in my opinion. His policies are crap.
It wasn't so much that Obama didn't prepare as that he cannot support his "accomplishments" of the last four years. Romney was superb and had all of the data at his fingertips. He did the best job by any debater in recent memory, maybe ever.
The impression to me was that of a petulant child being lectured by an accomplished scholar. Obama pouted and looked unhappy, displaying an amazingly thin skin. I don't think he can prepare for what's coming in the future debates but I could be wrong.
For the first time in his political career, Obama faced real scrutiny and he was unable to deal with it. It was much like the story of "the emperor's new suit." He was exposed as a woefully ignorant pretender at best and a fraud at worst. He is obviously in over his head as we have suspected for years.
Romney on the other hand, was a very pleasant surprise for me. He looked presidential and very knowledgeable in the areas discussed. Every time Obama resorted to his old talking points Romney shoved them down his throat. I am very optimistic now.
H/T Shelly
