Pride - Democrat (C) style!!!!!..............from Rico
The Democrats must be SO very proud today!!!
For the FIRST time (in our lifetimes anyway) American unemployment has met and exceeded the EUropean unemployment rate.
-And that's only using the massaged 'official' numbers!
After being harangued and lectured ad nauseum by these economic Nobel laureates that "we need to be more like EUrope" now we ARE!!!!
- Doubtless under the leadership of Obama and his team we will show them what REAL unemployment is all about before this is over.
Gee, THANKS Dem's (C) and THANKS Obama!!!!
-And NO, you can no longer blame this fiasco on Bush anymore...this one is all yours!!!!! .jpg)

Affirmative Action..............from Rico
Affirmative Action. It sounded like a good idea once. Fair. But, like ALL government programs it has assumed immortality long after any need remains for it.
I once belonged to an organization that was dedicated to "affirmative action" in a big way. Let me say that I never met one I didn't like on a personal basis, but then I never met one who was clearly the most qualified for the position they held either...they were by varying degrees unqualified and/or incompetent and had to be "carried" by the more capable employees. It was an open secret to management and employees alike, but one that dare not be acknowledged unless you were ready to make a career-terminating decision by saying so.
Possibly the kindest, yet most astute, comment I ever heard made about one senior affirmative action individual was "at least he photographs well." Think about it.
It was one thing to have to "carry" affirmative action dead weight, but we now may very well be "buried" by an affirmative action pResident.
What was well-intended may turn out to have been a suicide pact for the Republic. We waited too long to return to a meritocracy...

Kids on Marriage................
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? (written by kids)
You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming.
-- Alan, age 10
No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with...
-- Kristen, age 10
WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED?
Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then.
-- Camille, age 10
HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED?
You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids.
-- Derrick, age 8
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON?
Both don't want any more kids. -- Lori, age 8
WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE?
Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough...
-- Lynnette, age 8 ( isn't she a treasure? )
On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date.
-- Martin, age 10 ( isn't he ready for the world of dating ?)
WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR?
I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns.
-- Craig, age 9
WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE?
When they're rich.
-- Pam, age 7
The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that.
-- Curt, age 7
The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them... It's the right thing to do.
-- Howard, age 8
IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED ?
It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them.
-- Anita, age 9 ( bless you child )
HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED? There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there?
-- Kelvin, age 8 ( I like this kid )
And the Number 1 Favorite is ....
HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK?
Tell your wife that she looks pretty, even if she looks like a truck.
-- Ricky, age 10 ( He'll be married forever )

When it's NOT a coup.......from Rico
LETS SEE. A Communist wanna-be dictator....er, President... for life gets his ass handed to him by a military that is defending their Constitution and has the support of the people to do so [I'm talking about Honduras for the fiddy-two percenters who have been engrossed in the media hysteria over a Michael somebody] it is a 'not a legal coup' according to Obama. On the other hand, the Iranians protesting a rigged election are 'none of our business' according to this same Marxist-loving ass munch.
- Of course, the fact that other murdering Commie thugs like the Castro brothers, Chavez, and Ortega are pals of both the ousted one AND ObamaMarx doesn't appear in OUR propaganda outlets at all.
Nothing to see here...move along.
STILL, the very IDEA that the military and police who have sworn oaths to "protect and defend" their constitution would actually DO something like this has to just scare the crap out of you-know-whom.
- I'm just saying....................

"The American military has completed a withdrawal from Iraq's cities, and U.S. Army soldiers from C Co., 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment are seen resting in the shade at Forward Operating Base Warhorse in Baqouba, Iraq. US troops completed their last patrols on Monday after their deadline to withdraw from Iraqi cities."

Doh.. daft idea of the day...
Lets irritate the hell out of drivers to show our distaste for the Cap & Trade bill! Clearly this is satire or straight out of the counter-teaparty movement.

9/12 March on Washington DC merchandise
We had a poll about the current 9/12 March logo. I offered our alternative to the organisers who turned it down, well told us to piss off as they were busy. We now have a logo that needs to be used, especially since it was designed by the uber-talented John Cox of Cox & Forkum fame.
Behold our line of 9/12 March of DC merchandise. Quite possible we will add items to the range in the next few weeks.
Here are a few items from the shop.
Spreadshirt Market Place Product
9/12 Tank
Spreadshirt Market Place Product
9/12 T-shirt
You can also purchase a unisex jacket with the logo as well as other items.
