Marie Antoinette had her "let them eat cake" moment and will be forever remembered for it.
Yesterday in Spain, while it was not exactly a "let them eat brioche" or even 'jamon, jamon' moment, it was a memorable moment but it has eluded American journalists attention... thus the great unwashed is fretting instead about Steve Tyler and/or J-Lo possibly leaving some TV show or other.
The story too unimportant for Americans to hear seems to be this:
- After Spanish PM Rajoy announced that unemployment benefits would be cut, a Congresswoman was caught on camera applauding and shouting "Que se jodan!" [screw them all]
Perhaps this reminder to the public that they should instead be telling their own elected representatives "let them eat sh*t" is a bit too uncomfortable for the MSM kept-whores to risk?
