Yep, when I was flying fighters, the Sandy (the A-1Es usual callsign) and the Jolly Green were two aircraft I hoped never to see...Unless, of course, I needed them and then I wanted them orbiting over me NOW!
Two of the three most useful fixed wing aircraft operated by the USAF since WW2. Third is the Hercules.
