I was one of two passengers on an Eastern Airlines L-1011 in 1975, from Newark NJ to Miami FL. Upgrading to first class was the rule then, so the stewardesses didn't have to walk so far. Also two steak dinners.
That also was an aircraft repositioning problem. They needed the plane in Miami. We were two passengers early for the next flight, so they put us on.
