RAF personnel ordered not to wear uniforms in public after suffering abuse in the street. I have never read so much pathetic crap in my life. We should be buying these guys drinks and celebrating their courage not asking them to hide. This of course has nothing to with Peterborough being infested with Islamic rats.

Not surprising any more the media doesn't mention that Peterborough has a high percentage Muslim population. Easier to blame chavs.
Theo, unfortunately, the response the picture is suggesting is going to be rather ineffectual. The bomb is blue meaning it's practice ordinance (aka cement). Course, if it happens to hit someone on the head, it'll knock a WHOLE LOT of sense into 'em.
Those of another philosophy would go out in uniform and armed with many friends in uniform and armed.
When Norfolk, Va., in the 1970's, abused the sailors based there, the admiral in charge paid everyone in 2 dollar bills. Then told the city fathers to notice how many $2 bills were in circulation. Then restricted everyone to the base for one week. The economy tanked.
Sailors are now treated as normal citizens. You know...abused as usual, but, no more than everyone else....
Why don't JobCentre Plus and Peterborough Council Housing Benefit Department show solidarity with the RAF by paying bonuses to their staff who join the RAF Volunteer Reserve and let them wear theiruniforms at work? I'm sure the "cross" section of locals will close their claims to avoid being served by the crusader infidels.
I like this guy's suggestion:
"RAF Wittering should be given the Freedom of the City and, as is allowed, to march through Peterborough with fixed bayonets. Then if anyone objects they could use them."

RAF Wittering was accorded that honour after the Falklands Conflict. If a minority of politically inspired Muslims objects to servicemen and women wearing uniform then they are disrespecting those Indian, West and East African and Malayan Muslim soldiers who gallantly and loyally served in two world wars and many smaller scraps.
