Gosh, they were gorgeous to see. For a couple of years, in fact the last few years they flew them, we lived on the Jersey shore in the landing pattern for JFK. You could set your clock everyday by Concord flying over; it rumbled the house like no other plane.
I always regretted missing out on the deal they had where you could take the QE2 from NY to London and fly Concord back.
Not that I every had the money to do it, mind you, but gosh a feller can dream, can't he?
