Wow I checked out that link and I actually think Gateway Pundit is a bigger idiot than you. I know its hard to believe.

The sad reality is that Bush and Co have done nothing over the past 8 years to reduce the USA's dependence on foreign oil, leaving us all beholden to the skyrocketing prices — which are due in large part to the instability he has managed to create in the Middle East. It’s a truly vicious circle.

Imagine if the US had invested even a fraction of what its spent in Iraq on sustainable energy. Gasoline could be well on it’s way to being a relic of the past instead of one of the primary causes of the US's current recession. Considering both Bush and Cheney’s extensive ties to the oil industry, I guess this shouldn’t come as a big surprise.

No new drilling or nuclear plants? Well, how about using naivete as a source of energy? The Left seem to have an abundance of that.

If the Libs would not have stopped clean Nuclear power we could be 80% nuclear like France. If the Libs wouldn't have stopped new drilling on US soil and building new refineries we could be free of Mid East oil. If Kennedy (the murderer) would allow wind turbines, instead of stopping this progress because it might taint his view of the ocean, we would have wind power. ect. ect...

Annoying Mouse,
You are a child who parrots left wing BS blogs. Grow a brain and research the truth. It is the Looney Left who are destroying our country as well as the world.
.
You have been brain washed by left wing propaganda since you were a youngster.

Actually, we should use as much ME oil as possible...as should everyone else.

ME reserves are dropping like a stone now. When they are gone...

The US will have the largest oil reserves in the world.

Well,
I am working on a job opportunity with a company that builds power plants. They are putting together a team that is building nuclear power plants. Evidently they have 8 plants in the permitting stage. The Bush admin. has relaxed the permitting requirements, and there are as many as 30 in the works in the states.

There are many NIMBY's out there that are opposing it, but many plants are being built next to existing plants to avoid that.

Vmaximus,
