Charlton Heston was a great patriot. He was a veteran of WWII and a firm believer in the Bill of Rights and the Constitution as written. We have lost a great American. God Rest his soul.
Like Ronald Wilson Regan, he came with a message and a true gift for delivering that message. We need more like him. (Couldn't help but chuckle when my wife suggested that now they can take his gun from his cold, dead, hands. I think he would have seen the humor.)
