Due to budget cuts, RAF's newest fighter.
I don't think it's very hard, with the low stall speed and headwind.
You could probably hover on some days.
The tricky part is probably no brakes, on that particular model.
But the wind will stop him pretty fast.
The flight deck on Furious was forward of the bridge. To land, the pilot would make his approach from astern, fly past the superstructure, and sideslip onto the landing deck. Note that the breezes fluttering about the deckhouses would not necessarily make the landing easier. Which is why SCdr Dunning's career ended five days later. And why Furious returned to the shipyard for the addition of her aft landing deck.
