4th ID was blocked by the Turks, 3rd ID came from the south to Baghdad.
anonymous is correct. The objectives originally assigned to the 4th ID were taken by US Army Rangers and Army Special Forces working with Kurds.
True. Rock of the Marne did the South 40. IVY was supposed to handle the north 40.
Great point to remind cats in heat with defeat.
I am a Turkish citizen and even though i supported it back in 2003, i just don't understand why should an independent country allow foreign army to cross its borders to attack another country. Yes Al Qaeda is a terrorist organization and they did attack USA (they even attacked Turkey), but so is PKK, which almost all European countries support unofficially (supporting minority rights is one thing, denying PKK's terrorism is another) . And also there wasnt any sufficient evidence to link Saddam with Al Qaeda, or with mass destruction weapons.
