I'm dismayed as to how anyone was convinced by this twat - especially Paul Dacre of the Daily Mail who's paper seemed to fawn over him. "Prudent and formidable" is how they dubbed him. I've been saying since 1997 that he was leading us to hell.
BTW - socialism NEVER dies.

Socialism in recent Britain has been a youthful ideal harboured mainly by kids who think they know better than their parents; this is because they've never had to worry about feeding a family and working to pay bills. In our times of excess these stupid ideas were carried on well into adulthood by politicians who either never had kids, or who were wealthy enough not to bear the brunt of socialism's effects.
