Thanks for the link, big guy. This week's lesson should be a real eye-opener for those who have never used anything but WinXP. With all its "animated menus" and "sliding" lists, etc, XP is really a bloated old beast, and the way it organized the way its windows look and work is actually kind of bizarre after using prior versions of Windows. But, as stated in the lesson, by far the most important thing is to get rid of unnecessary background programs.
Next week we're going to do ergonomics, which will not only make the computer easier to use from a physical viewpoint, but will eliminate any aches and pains that might impede one's performance over the long run.
But the week after that is going to be really insulting to bloggers such as yourself. I'm going to teach them how to webmaster their own custom local home page, complete with links, which is way cooler than fussing around with 'Favorites'.
In other words, these rank beginners will actually know more about real webmastering than long-time bloggers who use these ready-made packages like Googleblogs.
And how insulting is that? :)
