It is time for some heads to roll......

Nimrod Crash: 'Fleet Not Airworthy'. The Government and MOD are guilty of wilful neglect when it comes to our forces. It is time for those responsible to pay with it for their jobs and pensions.

Don't hold your breath.

When there was talk of a Blair Force One I thought it ought to be a Nimrod. The problems would have been sorted pronto.

What are the excuses for the MK4 being late? It's mostly an Airbus something or other anyway so ought to have been a doddle to get into service.

CUNTS.

Right, and unless the MRA4 is drastically different from its predecessors, they should probably think about replacing the Nimrod altogether.

Nimrod MR4 uses the refurbed fuselages of MR2s (converted from MR1s) with new wings, tail, engines and electrics: http://listeningblogger.blogspot.com/2008/05/nimrod-xv230.html
Someone needs to make a Nimrod AEW3 decision and buy Boeing P-8s instead. In the meantime the RAF should wet-lease Breguet Atlantiques or Orions.
