Where did the video come from? I didn't think there were any Mosquitos flying still (except for my backyard).

Juvat. I have no idea where it came from. I just fell over it on you-tube while lookin for 633 stuff. It is an amazing vid. I would love to see the whole thing.

Absolutely Magic. Why more isn't done to preserve more of these beautiful machines for our children to marvel at, I don't know.

The blurb to go with the clip says they are computer generated.

Great aircraft. Fantastic engine. Used without a supercharger in some of our tanks as well.

Here's some clips from 633 Squadron. Some very nice flying through valleys.

Sounds just like my Briggs and Stratton !......Now now just kidding. Several years ago, 89 or 90, just before the 50th aniversary of the Battle of Britain I traveled to Britain to see the air show at Farnborough. While there I also visited the air museum at Duxford and had a very fortunate day. While I was wandering around outside the museum they brought a Spit out for a flight test, there were several memorial flybys that year, The sounds and the smells were amazing ! A trully beautiful machine. Also got to see the spit and a Lancaster flyby before I returned home. The show at Farnborough was great as well.

Don't forget the Spits in some of the first cuts, either.

Nothing like the sound of a V-12...

I was at the Watsonville (California) Fly-in yesterday with lots if interesting flying things from a C-17A (the biggest thing ever to land there) on down to a 1932 Waco QDX, that looks like someone grafted wings and tail onto a Model A Sedan. It was odd watching the C-17 backing up down the runway toward its parking spot.

And a couple of V12 inlines; one of them being in a newly made Yak 9U...with an Allison V12 engine.

Accelerates, turns and climbs faster than a P-51; if nowhere near the range.

It was a good day.

It's nice to know that we've finally finished paying for them as well.

I wonder how long it will take us to get out of the mess Blair and Brown have dug us into.
