I am so glad I'm not an American taxpayer.
"With the war added to the Pentagon's core budget, the United States now spends nearly as much on military matters as the rest of the world combined. Military spending also throws all other parts of the federal budget into shadow, representing 58 cents of every dollar spent by the federal government on "discretionary programs" (those that Congress gets to vote up or down on an annual basis).
The total Pentagon budget represents more than our combined spending on education, environmental protection, justice administration, veteran's benefits, housing assistance, transportation, job training, agriculture, energy, and economic development."

=TOTAL FAILURES Nuff Said!!!!!!
Yeah, the rest of the world just screams "Where are the Americans?" when there's a disaster or threat they cannot manage.
Bite it, anonymous.
Of course they don't spend as much; they expect the U.S. to do much of the work.
anonymous forgets, too, that half or better of the "military budget" is taking care of veterans pensions and medical care.
Not that he'd care if he did know.
Oh, forgot.
The "pentagon budget" is a good deal less than social spending in the federal budget.
If you believe the GAO, the which anonymous has apparently never heard of.
Video like that reminds me that my armory is so inadequate!
Even if my Walker Colt makes almost as much smoke!
Nor does the idiot realise that defense spending is still a tiny fraction of the U.S. total budget--somewhere around 3.5%, I believe.
