Royal Navy may share new carriers with France. Only a civil servant could have thought of this. It looks like certain French Defence contractors are looking to con the MOD (which isn't difficult) into buying the Rafale instead of the F-35.

Presumably, the RN will get the carriers for 2 weeks in February and every other Monday. Oh and the names with have to be changed to HMS Napoleon and HMS William the Bastard to reflect their joint ownership.
Remember the French Navy's motto: "A Leau, c'est l'heure".
