Many years ago, the nightly news had film of an F8U being catapulted off a carrier with its wings folded up. The pilot managed to get back to the carrier and safely land.
Hey!, I worked on those in the navy at NAS Lemoore. It's an A7-E, or B. We also had some two seaters for the VA-122 squardon. Old air planes, devloped during Vet Nam and used there also, a lot. Wonder where they are taking this one to?

Actually, that looks very much like an A-7. Not an F-8.
I hate it when they run out of fuel in midair.
