This DH-88 is most definitely air-worthy; it flies out of South County Airport up the road from Gilroy, CA. The owner brings it out for local fly-ins and airshows.
Which is pretty nifty.
It's a replica of the original DH-88 G-ACSS, and was built by Bill Turner. The original has been restored, and is based in England.
I must admit at first sight I thought Old Warden had changed a bit. And Black Magic is hopefully under restoration as well. http://www.pjcomputing.flyer.co.uk/comet/acsp.html

Cooo didn't even know that it still existed. And it looks like it's still airworthy.
Did I once make an Airfix kit of this aeroplane?
Please could anybody confirm that I might have done so and what it is?!
Thanks.
A comet.
DH 88 Comet.
Cheers
I think it bears a curious resemblance to the ME262. Coincidence?
