Apparently a new motto was required for the French Navy.
They decided upon 'To the water: it is time'.
In French 'A l'eau: c'est l'heure';
In Franglais 'allo saileur!'

The French have a Navy!?! I thought Lord Nelson fixed that problem and we finished the job at Operation Torch back at War Two.
Someones has some serious explaining!
Hat tip due to Alan Coren, actually.
Also, to a French speaking person, "One egg is an oeuf".
This is according to that international linguist, Norman H. of Calais.
