THE "RED HANDBOOK" OF THE BEIJING OLYMPICS....so streaking is out then.

(AGI) - Beijing, 14 July - It is not enough just to buy a ticket in order to watch the Beijing Olympic Games live. In fact it is worth closely reading the strict handbook which regulates the public's participation and sticking to it. It is a lot more than just a handbook, as the organisers have drawn up 26 rules and prohibitions. The imperative has been summed up with the following slogan: "Good habits for a successful Olympic Games". The 'Behavioural rules for spectators' manual was made public by the Organising Committee of Beijing 2008.
According to them the rules will be important in order to "maintain order and safety at the event". Among the things that are banned are lashing out at referees, athletes and other staff as well as betting and sit-ins or demonstrations. Also forbidden will be "getting drunk, stripping or any activity which interferes with the Games or which is considered illegal by Chinese law". It will not be possible to enter stadiums with musical instruments, small trumpets and whistles, lighters or matches, flags or posters bigger than 2 metres square. Any other object which could be used as a weapon will also be banned. Folding umbrellas on the other hand will be allowed to use as parasols. Obviously provided that they do not block the vision of the people behind once they are opened on the terraces.
