Interesting re the Iranian ship but, I have to say, have done anti-piracy ops and taught about piracy for the RN, I have absolutely no fucking sympathy for the Somalis.
Mind you, if the Iranian fools were carrying that important / dangerous / expensive a cargo, sticking the odd Browning 50cal or DShK in the armoury to be mounted on the rails isn't beyond the wit of mullah.
1:5 tracer and you can outrage an RPG-7 no probs (or anything short of laser guided fired from a wee boat).
