I'm not surprised; asking Republican voters similar questions would have much the same result. Same goes for voters here in the UK.
There really SHOULD be a basic knowledge test to determine voter eligibility. Those of a conservative nature would be far more likely to LEARN what was necessary to pass, ergo: goodbye Socialism as a political entity.
