Or how about these two once heard in an after dinner speech given by a former traffic controller at Heathrow and apparently genuine:

USAF Blah Blah Three: London Control, request permission to overfly London Restricted Fly Zone at 70,000 feet.
London Control: USAF Blah Blah Three, if you can climb that high, the sky's empty. Permission granted.
USAF Blah Blah Three: Thank you London Control. Sierra Romeo Seven One descending to 70,000 feet.

Or from an exchange between traffic control and Aeroflot back in the days.

Aeroflot: Hello Londink. Aeroflot Red Oktober Nine Nine. We want land runway five three.
London Control: Red Oktober Nine Nine, we're a bit busy just now. Please join holding pattern Tango at 20,000 feet and await further instructions.
Aeroflot: Hello Londink. Aeroflot Red Oktober Nine Nine. Roger your last. I making final approach now.
