You can't use the brakes if you don't put the wheels on the ground.
A reason to learn to do that at any speed.
The pilot touched down far too late, he should have gone around again. St Barths is a very tricky landing, I've landed there a few times myself (passenger not pilot) and it can be a little scary. Any idea when the video was taken, from the lines of yellow buoys I think it must have been the current season.
That's what happens when you're hot on short final and without a plan.
Should have planned to do a go-around when he wasn't on the ground by the first marker past the numbers.
